FD NeuroSilver^TM Kit from FD Neurotechnologies is designed for the detection of degenerating neurons in fixed tissue sections from the central nervous system of experimental animals. The kit can be used under various conditions in animal studies,such as in stroke, epilepsy, and Huntington’s disease. It is especially effective in the detection of amyloid plaques in tissue sections that have been processed for immunohistochemistry. This unique kit allows straightforward, rapid analysis of neuro-degeneration through direct visualization under a light or electron microscope.

Unique Features:
-   Highly specific and sensitive: selective staining of degenerating neuronal somata, axons
    and terminals. Also detects amyloid plaques in the brain
-   Simple, fast protocol: takes approximately 1 hour to complete
-   Results can be detected under a light microscope: No requirment for fluorescence
    microscope
-   Used in stroke, epilepsy, and Huntington’s disease studies
-   Works in cryostat or Vibratome sections cut from formalin-fixed brains
- Can be used in combination with immunohistochemistry in the same section
