Product Description
EmbryoFix^TM
A ready-to-use fixative especially formulated for the fixation of embryonic tissues while restoring antigenicity. This solution, consisting of phosphate-buffered paraformaldehyde and picric acid, is prepared mainly according to Zamboni and de Martino (J. Cell Biol. 35:148.(1967)) . EmbryoFix^TM is packaged in polyethylene vials of convenient tissue-sample size (20 ml) with leak-proof caps.

4% phosphate buffered paraformaldehyde solution
This filtered and ready-to-use tissue fixative is freshly made from paraformaldehyde powder. The standard solution contains 4% paraformaldehyde in 0.1 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.4). This fixative may be stored at room temperature for at least one year without change of the original quality.

4% phosphate buffered paraformaldehyde solution with Picric Acid
This filtered and ready-to-use tissue fixative is freshly made with high purity paraformaldehyde powder and saturated picric acid solution according to Zamboni and de Martino (J. Cell Biol. 35:148.(1967)). This fixative has been proven to preserve generally better morphology and antigenicity compared to the phosphate-buffered 4% paraformaldehyde. This fixative may be stored at room temperature for at least one year without change of the original quality.
