Scientific focuses on research and development of innovative
technologies that can be developed into products
for biomedical
research and used in contract research services.
Established in 1998,
we began as a contract research company, GenoQuest, Inc. and
have been
providing plasmid purification and
DNA cloning
services. In
2001, we added DNA sequencing to our services. Over the years,
we have developed many technologies to improve quality and yield
of plasmid purification such as for BAC plasmids, and to sequence
difficult DNA.
In addition to provide contract
research services, we also manufacture and sell unique products
for biomedical research based on technologies we developed
as well as from partnership with
companies with evolutionary technologies. Currently,
our product lines include fast, enviroment-friendly plasmid purifiaction
kits and protein stain. Our products are mainly sold
through distributors.
In 2005, we changed our company's name to MTR Scientific, Inc. after we merged
with MTR Scientific, LLC, a marketing company.
